any update to your Feb 16 post? After a long hiatus, (working on another code project) we're finally getting back to this plugin for our planned updates. What's coming first - as in right away before anything major. #1 - Latest php8x compatibility. #2 - Updating all 3rd party libraries to newest versions for, js, css, etc. After this is one we will be rolling out the rest of previously planned upgrades. #1 - New core templates. #2 - New rets api integrations. #3 - New API for connecting to our other New Back Office CRM software first - then including the API documentation to be able to connect this to any 3rd party solutions you want to develop on. All of the above is primarily for existing clients - after we complete the list then - That's it - We're Done! ...other than maintenance. Nothing else is planned or scheduled for this project due to the over-all-decline of DIY clients "capable" of setting up and managing everything needed to run their own RE website. When we originally launched this project, way back in 2008, it was for our own "in-house" SEO Company. We needed to provide our RE customers an SEO edge over their competition - We spent so much time/$ developing the plugin that we decided to modify it to include an UI for other web developers to be able to also use what we had created - Since then, and years later, others tried to build something to compete against us like Realtyna, Estatik - Now they're both struggling to remain viable. In fact, this has become such a micro-niche market, that we've already gone on to build out another "SaaS" solution that's hopefully going to be the Next #1 Disrupter to all of the other Real Estate Tech Silos out there. Excited to see the new patched version, still waiting on Videos for version 4.1.7 - need 3 videos to enable / enact the most important features? 1) New Maps price pins and other new maps code is already in this version but - will require new video. 2) New extra RETS options with additional "custom" filters added as well as new way to only download last x# of months/years of sold data from todays current date (example: allows for "exactly" last 6 months of sold data to be maintained) have been added to our latest RETS module (now only available in the downloads) - will require video. 3) Added amazing new "fully customizable" community template - will require video. 4.1.8 Removing everything down to the bare minimum within template folder - Very excited about this, will this allow EASY one click template customizaztion to use other templates interchangably without having to hard code absolutely everything in the template folder? Very excited about : PHP 8.1 compatibility You mentioned last year about community templates, how many templates are in the new patched release? Most of my time goes into customizing and HARD coding templates (tedious task of many hours), would really love to be able to change to other templates very simply like houzes, wp residence, my home, real estate 7, zoner, homepress, resideo, homelisti, estately, etc... there's over 100 found here ( https://themeforest.net/search/real estate ) would be nice to just go to appearances > and change template to something else (right now we use enfold) and it would be nice if we could change to X, Flatsome, avada, The7, bethemes, Theme28, Sesame, Bridge, Divi, Agent Press, Zita, or any LARGE well known theme that's sold 10,000+ copies known as Multi Themes (https://realtyna.com/real-estate-themes/ ) actually work and still display. Would be nice to be able to use BeaverBuilder/Divi/Elementor and such builders where we can just go in and drag/drop and change "scheme" colors and change a logo, instead of having to open up the wprrets/templates/default folder and copy/paste and re-write everything offline in dreamweaver is such a major pain. Is your community template addressing this? This is more important than all your API stuff with docusign and such I feel (at least to me). The hard coding /editing of manual individual templates is is programmed like it's 1990's program code. https://themeforest.net/search/real estate The current 4.1.6-4.1.7 without video templates are the weak link in it, doesn't work interchanegably with other templates. If you've got 7 full time programmers/developers working on the script, would be awesome if you can have one of them make global themes truly work global universal compatibilty.... One of the competitors has 30 themes/demo/layouts included, I wish I could use your rets pro script with their beautiful themes.
