  1. Happy New Year Everyone! Here at RETS PRO our first priority this year will be to go through all of our RP plugin code to do all of the needed upgrades to the newest 3rd party code dependencies i.e. Bootstrap4, jQuery3, JS, PHP7x, CSS3 etc. While we're doing these 3rd party upgrades we're also working on a completely New Default template set - AND - New Maps Template! We are especially excited to roll out a brand New Maps Template! (asap). The new maps template will be a MAJOR upgrade to our current maps template as it will feature basic builder documentation as well as some custom embed options. For example - you will be able to add in your own custom drop down boxes via our current search form builder and then add them to the search form (trust me its cool and no one else has such a builder). Why are we focusing on a New Maps template? Well for starters we primarily work with larger RE companies that have Multiple RETS Feeds. We've found that when joining hundreds of thousands of listings the fastest way for the end user to search these listings is via a map search versus an "advanced search form". Why is that? Well for starters the maps search uses "clusters" to join multiple #'s of listings. We then limit the total number of results/pins that can be displayed so that no matter how many listings you are returning it will always load (quickly) the max# of listings - or - typically far less than the max# due the customer is only viewing a smaller geographical area and with some filters already added so speed is extremely fast compared to a advanced search results page. And on a side note* Let's talk about the future beyond January 2021, This is the year that we not only re-launch RP as revamped 5x "before the end of the year" but we're also branching out into another non-wordpress stand alone RE platform. Why is that? Well we feel that WP is fine for 98% of all RE website owners out there but we are looking to run our code from within a CRM stack that will allow us to then run our entire solution from within a fully integrated enterprise crm solution similar to kvcore etc. ... So .....without giving away too much info on that project our - #1 priority this year is a revamped RP5x release! Cheers!
  2. If you were like most of our customers using the older Galleria Slideshow on your listing details page then the latest Wordpress Update to their latest 5.6 version then you will probably notice that your slideshow is broken on the listing details page. This is the very simple "temporary" fix for everyone since to permanently fix this will require a lot of upgrades that we will cover in another How-To video later on when we replace the old slideshow code with an all new version/upgrade. First of all you will need to login to "Edit your Listing Details Page" then copy this below: <script type="text/javascript" src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-migrate-1.4.1.min.js" id="jquery-migrate-js"></script> Then Paste the code into the "Head Section" as shown in this image below:
  3. RETS PRO 4.1.5 Feature List

To answer this - #1 there isn't a "feature comparison" of the old 3x version that we discontinued all support for 3-years ago. If you are still running that version then not only is it not supported but even the max version of php5.6 or if you have the very last 3x version it might be working with php7.0 and neither are supported by their own EOL. And to answer the #2 question - custom embedded shortcodes using async shortcodes for customers to filter their embedded results on the map - were never part of any release but were custom done and working only on your site by a programmer who couldn't ever get that feature to work as we intended so it was never supported by us and left out of any releases. If someone wants to embed maps via shortcode then "Yes" that's always been doable, but without any type of "sort-by" fields since that required async. You would need to pre-select the sort-by in the shortcode and then people viewing the embed would be able to use the "pagination" to scroll through that group of listings - Remember "shortcode embedded listings" should only be for smaller results. If someone wants to use our new Big map search template within several different pages and have it match up with predefined results - then that "IS" possible and we are going to make a few new map how-to videos for customers wanting to use it in that way. That's the only way that you will be able to match up to something similar to what you have - BUT - when using the full map then it is the same BIG full map only option and not some smaller embeddable map like the one you have. Of course with all of that said - you can always find a programmer on freelancer.com, or somewhere else, who can easily do whatever you want done since our code is not encrypted and its all cheap php/js/html/css code labor to have any of it customized. Hope that helps -
  4. We have been testing this week with php7.3x and everything seems to work just fine so expect this to be part o our next 4.1.3 and newer releases. We have some more code testing for php7.4 but we will announce that status upon the final release of 4.1.3 Cheers!
  5. This is yet another "Patch Release" to fix things broken due to Wordpress 5.5x. This release fixes the conflicts caused by the new Wordpress jquery version that apparently broke thousands of plugins and themes that were still using the older versions of jquery code (like us). NOTE:** If you are just now upgrading to this version and still needed to know more about the change log and updates then please visit our other post below for the 4.1.(3-4) versions. Cheers!
  6. RETS PRO 4.1.4 patch release to fix bugs created by our 4.1.3 release that were due to the WordPress 5.5 changes. NOTE:** The 4.1.4 Release will appear to be broken at first due to your browser cache - meaning that the Menu Link in wordpress admin will not appear to be working to open the plugin (simply open via your domain.com/wpradmin or open the website in another browser until local cache issues are resolved.) There is only one manual edit required if you are using the html " Homepage Quick Search. " You simply need to watch this video below to find the code within the html: (no audio) Within the html there is the following code near the top - <input name="page" type="hidden" value="searchresults" /> Just need to change the---- name="page" to name="mypage" Below is the older video version of where to find static layer to make edits - (access to static layer may very depending on the revslider version you are running.)
  7. We have solved the WP 5.5 problem now and have a new maintenance release forthcoming this Thursday Aug 20th - Please note = there will be a single edit required for anyone who is using our home page quick search and instructions and video will be coming with the new release. It has been brought to our attention that the latest Wordpress 5.5 release has broken our Search form submit that would normally take the customer to our Search-Results page - but for some reason its bouncing back to the search page again - If this is critical to your site working then either Do Not Update to 5,.5 yet or if you already have and would like to restore wordpress to 5.4 then this is how to proceed. NOTE: We are working on a maintenance release today and will post updates and release time ETA. This is a free easy to use plugin and as you can read from the reviews 5.5 has caused all sorts of problems for customers websites - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-downgrade/ If you want to install this plugin then within wordpress you need to copy this into the search for plugin "wp-downgrade" and then download and activate the plugin and follow its instructions. 8. AUTO-SEO Videos!

For those that have not checked in our KB (knowledge base), located in the RETS PRO customer client area, we have uploaded a playlist link for the How-To's needed for Auto SEO. I have been personally testing it out and it's working pretty sweet and according to my google panel it says I have over 19k pages indexed! Not only that, the actual listing pages being created are showing up on page 1 or 2 of all search engines for the address-match within 3 to 5 days. Check out the videos and let us know here in this thread what you think! Cheers

Hello! Anyone with any How-To SEO questions will now have this dedicated thread. 11. We have released the newest version 4.1.0 as of today. * Important notes below to make sure that you are keeping up with all of the latest changes. #1 - Template Changes. (With this release you will need to make sure to do the following template edits so that your templates are working correctly.) The following template changes are required now due to the fact that we have removed our global insert of these scripts and now only include them where the templates are actually calling for them - this will result in Better SEO Page Speeds and Scores! Add the following code to the top of the templates listed below - or copy and paste from our newest default templates. Note: -> replace the dynamic php path below if problem occurs with cache plugins. <?php // replace the dynamic php path below if problem occurs with cache plugins $conf = \RPx\System\GetModuleConfig('MapSearch'); echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?libraries=drawing%2Cplaces&key=".$conf['gmap_key']."'></script>"; echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='".$config['wpradmin_baseurl'].'/rpx/Modules/MapSearch/scripts/markerclusterer.js'."'></script>"; echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='".$config['wpradmin_baseurl'].'/rpx/Modules/MapSearch/scripts/oms.js'."'></script>"; echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='".$config['wpradmin_baseurl'].'/rpx/Modules/MapSearch/scripts/remote-map.js'."'></script>"; ?> Template Files: listing_detail.php sc_templates/(all maps short code templates ) #2 - The following code needs to be added to your child themes function.php in order to get your listings indexed into google. // Disable REST API link tag remove_action('wp_head', 'rest_output_link_wp_head', 10); // Disable oEmbed Discovery Links remove_action('wp_head', 'wp_oembed_add_discovery_links', 10); // Disable REST API link in HTTP headers remove_action('template_redirect', 'rest_output_link_header', 11, 0); And if you use Yoast then add this and don't forget to watch our youtube video and match the listing details ID#. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6smPGL4QQrQ&t ) add_action('template_redirect','remove_wpseo'); function remove_wpseo(){ if (is_page(330)) { global $wpseo_front; if(defined($wpseo_front)){ remove_action('wp_head',array($wpseo_front,'head'),1); } else { $wp_thing = WPSEO_Frontend::get_instance(); remove_action('wp_head',array($wp_thing,'head'),1); } } } ======================================== Next version 4.1.1 coming very soon! ======================================== We are working on a couple of new sets of "default templates" that will be coming out in January. Here are a few other items that we are also currently working on: #1 php 7.3 compatibility testing. #2 php 7.4 compatibility testing. #3 More x2crm integration and crossover compatibility. You can expect to see more frequent updates as we're now doing multiple crossover compatibility testing and breaking out our modules into separate downloads again so that only the main core is all that will be updated via the plugin updater going forward in all future releases. Cheers! ..... and have a Happy New Year!
  12. We have released the newest version 4.1.0 as of today. * Important notes below to make sure that you are keeping up with all of the latest changes. Basic Change Log For 4.1.0 Added more time for license lookup to allow for developers to switch back and forth while using single site license key. Removed Global Maps Code shown below and moved to the tops of the map related templates. Moved some Admin Menu links around and renamed a few. Fixed installer.php file to correct field type causing error with some DIY hosting setups. Fixed a few minor admin area descriptions and css. <?php // replace the dynamic php path below if problem occurs with cache plugins $conf = \RPx\System\GetModuleConfig('MapSearch'); echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?libraries=drawing%2Cplaces&key=".$conf['gmap_key']."'></script>"; echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='".$config['wpradmin_baseurl'].'/rpx/Modules/MapSearch/scripts/markerclusterer.js'."'></script>"; echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='".$config['wpradmin_baseurl'].'/rpx/Modules/MapSearch/scripts/oms.js'."'></script>"; echo "<script type='text/javascript' src='".$config['wpradmin_baseurl'].'/rpx/Modules/MapSearch/scripts/remote-map.js'."'></script>"; echo "<link rel='stylesheet' href='".site_url().'/wpradmin/'.$config['template_dir'].'/style.css'."' type='text/css' media='all'>"; echo "<link rel='stylesheet' href='".site_url().'/wpradmin/'.$config['template_dir'].'/css/fontawesome/css/font-awesome.min.css'."' type='text/css' media='all'>"; echo "<script src='".site_url().'/wpradmin/'.$config['template_dir'].'/js/control.js?ver=1.0'."' type='text/javascript'></script>"; ?> Templates That Require The Above Code Added: your-template-name/listing_detail.php your-template-name/sc_templates/(all maps shortcode templates) ============================================================ #2 - Important Note: Everyone Needs To Modify In Order To Get Listings Indexed Into Google etc: Adding the following code to your Wordpress Child-themes/functions.php File. Failing to do so will prevent your listings from being indexed or added to any sitemaps.xml files etc so it's pretty important step needed to solve that problem. (Due to wordpress now adding these globally & there are plugins to remove them as well but we like adding to the child theme.) // Disable REST API link tag remove_action('wp_head', 'rest_output_link_wp_head', 10); // Disable oEmbed Discovery Links remove_action('wp_head', 'wp_oembed_add_discovery_links', 10); // Disable REST API link in HTTP headers remove_action('template_redirect', 'rest_output_link_header', 11, 0); ================================ If You are also using Yoast SEO plugin - then follow these instructions shown in this video; ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6smPGL4QQrQ&t ) And by adding the following code to your Wordpress Child-themes/functions.php File. add_action('template_redirect','remove_wpseo'); function remove_wpseo(){ if (is_page(330)) { global $wpseo_front; if(defined($wpseo_front)){ remove_action('wp_head',array($wpseo_front,'head'),1); } else { $wp_thing = WPSEO_Frontend::get_instance(); remove_action('wp_head',array($wp_thing,'head'),1); } } } ============================ Coming Soon in version 4.1.1 Adding in more x2crm changes. Testing for php 7.3 & 7.4 version issues. Creating a very basic bootstrap default template and a new default matched enfold template in order to solve all default customer/theme setups. Cheers and Happy New Year!
  13. Version 4.0.8 - Has now been Released as Version 4.0.9 as of today Primary Patch fixes include: Fixed CREA - RETS cleanup script. Fixed RETS image downloader that was only allowing (1) image per listing. Fixed Field Formatting Settings from showing fields with 0-zero as the value. Fixed Search form remote-db connection to include auto-suggest (was never connected for some reason). Fixed Short code builder issue with "count" value. Updated default template files and libraries to work with latest php-versions. Many other minor items were also fixed such as replacing more old WP Realty wordings to RETS PRO etc. Coming Soon: Finishing off anything related to our current (default) template files. New changes to our Admin Menu. Move hard coded register/login popup template into the default/customer template folder to allow customization. Removing all globally inserted header/footer css/ajax/js etc. and only calling them when and where they are actually needed on pages that contain our code - this is being done in order to provide a better SEO score and speed throughout your wordpress website. Clean up all backend UI templates. Adding in New RPxCRM integration options to tie in API within our Admin/CRM Menu. Adding in new template selector and field selector (probably only Menu/Page placeholders in this next release.) Add in options for Gutenburg for shortcode embed button and new template blocks. Add Session checker that pops up warning if session has timed out. Add new option to create secondary listingsdb table for mapping sold data so not to commingle both within main db (view google-docs). 2019 Road Map: Fix Search form to load skeleton only and make each field wrapper to only load values when clicked into focus. (makes forms instant-load) Add new option to create secondary listingsdb table for mapping sold data so not to commingle both within main db (view google-docs). Make all our bootstrap templates stay within container (view google-docs). Full integration leads and user sync with RPxCRM Add in new Alerts as well as new installers closable to-do-list - all added to the top of Wordpress Admin area. much much more...but these are the top of the list items that we are sharing atm. What's NEXT? - RETS PRO version 4.1 is already in the works right now and we will be focusing on our coming soon items 1-5. This next follow up release will be coming out very soon (less than 2 weeks) as we are focusing on cleaning up our Registration Form for Listing Alerts and the customers saved LA settings. We're also focusing on code cleanup for better speed and SEO scores with this next pending release. *Note - Everyone will notice that in this latest version that it will once again prompt you for your license key - Simply login to your RETS PRO client area and grab your license key and apply - If you have moved your site to another host and or domain name then simply re-issue your license key again and reapply and it should work as we have been testing this prior to this release to ensure there will be no issues with the key enforcements. License Key Reminder - Developers License is non-restricted usage. Basic+Plus License is unlimited domains and only IP-locked. Basic License is locked to a Single Domain and no Subdomains are allowed. How to upgrade from really old versions to new version. If you are upgrading from 4.0.7 or 4.0.8 then you won't have to do anything other than allow plugin to update via the normal plugin updater within wordpress. However if you are on anything older than that then you should open a support ticket and provide us with all of the login info so that we and perform the update for you as we have different procedures that are needed for really old versions and if you're running a non-supported 3x version then we do charge our 1-hr rate to do that upgrade at this point.
  14. We have been testing this week with php7.2x and everything seems to work just fine other than out listing details image slider. SO we are looking to see if that can be updated and if not then we are going to replace it with a new different 3rd party slider. This compatibility issue will sorted out and then made be part of our next 4.0.8 - so if you are reading this and we are already at 4.0.8 or higher then you should be fine with running php7.2x but until then please roll back or maintain at no higher than php7.1x versions Please also - NOTE* As previously stated and will probably remain this way due to what we have to have in our New tables when plugin gets activated - All mysql 5.7 or mariadb 10.3 or newer databases all default to include Strict-Mode which MUST be disabled prior to installing our plugin. If you're on a managed hosting platform with any of the top hosting providers then you will not need to alter that since they already disable - BUT - if you're doing a DIY VPS hosting or dedicated server then you will need to make sure that you disabled this prior to installing out plugin.
  15. Demo SItes?

Hello Marie, Thanks you for the kind words and to quickly answer the question(s) - I forwarded you a few live sites via PM, as to a public login demo site I can only say that we will have one that you can login to with us via Skype = RETS PRO. Otherwise we're currently working on our current demo link that I sent you that will soon show everything on the front end via live-examples along with the code formatted outputs to show [shortcodes] or {smarty conditionals} used to achieve the examples shown. Due to all the lockdowns required for a login type demo site we're not planning on getting to that until we have at least completed our new crm feature integrations first. Be sure to call us if you want to do a live login together via Skype - and welcome to the forums! (btw - I know I answered this already in the PM, but I thought I should also answer it here as well since others may have the same questions.) :)
  16. New 4.0.7 version is available for download as well as auto update. There are 2 ways to upgrade: 4.06 to 4.0.7 #1 Normal plugin update via plugin updates within Wordpress Plugin Admin panel. *(recommended if upgrading from 4.0.6) #2 FTP instructions below (always make a complete site backup first either way) *(recommended if upgrading from 4.0.5) NOTICE - IF - You are updating from 4.0.5 or older you should probably have us to the update for you - open a support ticket with login information and someone will be happy to handle this as our schedule allows (can't do everyone at the same time ). FTP Method - As always -> Make your backups! First you will want to deactivate the older 4x version. Next rename the old plugin folder and or move it out of the plugin directory. Next unzip and ftp upload new version to plugin directory. Next take the following files from the unzipped folder and ftp overwrite to your-domain.com/wpradmin a. wp-realty/core/index.php - the index.php file is copied over to your-domain.com/wpradmin/index.php b. Optional is to also take and copy over the core/template/default – but not required – although you will most likely want to look over the newer map template located within the wp-realty/core/template/default/Modules/MapSearch/ We are currently working on the following within this 4.0.7 version: In this release you will see that we are now adding in a blue question mark (?) “Tool-Tips” throughout the plugin that will help to provide instant explanations and examples as well as direct links to our KB articles and or videos for expanded descriptions and explanations. (more of these will be coming with each new release). CHANGELOG 4.0.7 Fixed RETS to include open-house class data imports. Fixed Shortcode builder polygon maps issue. Fixed Maps Search polygon as well as preloader and added new limit settings. Fixed Shortcode builder showing non-used fields in output. Fixed Missing email templates table. Added New in-line tooltips for search form builder (a lot more tooltips coming soon). Fixed ability to include manually uploaded listings with independant image sources as well. A ton of minor cosmetic items (a lot more coming). ==== And last of all ... We are working on NEW hosting options and services for everyone - why? ...well from what we have seen over the 10+ years of doing this is that there seems to be a huge desire to DIY and OWN your code etc. - BUT - what we have found out along the way is that there are very few customers that have all of the required skill sets to do all of the things needed. Now offering the following options. (All of these are optional - you can always DIY everything yourself on your own hosting provider.) DIY-Hosting - Starting @ $20 per month....all the way to Dedicated Server. We just provide you with a RETS compatible hosting service that's geared towards Heavy RETS/Data usage. Managed - Starting @ extra $20 per month on top of your selected hosting package. We automatically take care of all your Wordpress/Plugin/Theme updates as well as manually take care of any RETS management/changes tweaks. (This is per single-site and single-RETS-feed and any "required" RETS changes needed will only be done per your forwarding to us the emails from the provider as there is no way for us to know what is needed otherwise.) Managed VIP - @ extra $100 per month (Available Jan. 1st - Contact us for more information.) Same as the above Managed - but we also include our own custom version of the X2CRM as well as a few other commercial plugins that we use. Also includes "Live" 1-on-1 consulting with you for up to (2-hrs) per month to help you to achieve your SEO goals as well as Lead/Marketing campaign management. All of the details and examples will be linked to on our website soon! This Managed group will also benefit from our beta testing of our New SEO/SEM Automated SEO content and Social Media Marketing tools. The value here goes well beyond the extra cost per month when you have automated task getting done and team of experts to lean on every month. ================================= Anyone interested in the New VIP hosting packages please give us a call @ 888-540-9666 as we are already transferring several older customers over to this new platform that's publicly available Jan. 1st. ================================= What's in store for our upcoming versions? (Here are a few bullets on what we are planning:) New Gutenburg Template Blocks!... as well as a few other related items. New UI for selecting templates i.e Listing Details, Search Results, Map Search etc. UI for matching up RETS fields to main template fields i.e beds, baths, price, sqft, etc etc. Adding in UI for Social Media signup/sign-in Fix Search Page to only load the search field wrappers and not load their data until clicked on (this will make search page load instantly) Isolate all our Bootstrap calls (something we are already working on to prevent 3rd party template/theme css conflicts) Testing with X2CRM user sync and web data tracking ( We have been testing X2CRM for about 7 months and love it! ) Have a great NEW YEAR! Cheers!
  17. *Disclaimer: *First of all we are HUGE fans of GNU/GPL and we do not recommend this as a way to circumvent other developers that need your financial support! Most developers like to put their hands on as many plugins and themes as we can in order to try them out before we commit to spending money on them so this was a no brainer purchase decision for us and we are so glad we joined them as a paying member. We decided to buy a annual license with GPLVAULT so that we would be able to test hundreds of GNU/GPL plugins and themes as well as other GPL software that may be needed for an upcoming projects where we needed something special like a gravity forms addon or some themeforest or codecanyon theme or plugin that might fit the bill. Wow! is this even legal? YES! - For several years we have included several GPL plugins and themes in our own download area - even had some disgruntled customer try to have our hosting provider take down our website for distributing commercially licensed plugins and themes that were in-fact ALL GNU/GPL and or Developer/Extended Licensed products - another idiot customer story for later.... but heck yes its LEGAL and LEGIT! Remember though that if you DO find something that you plan on using over and over again in your own sites/projects then please consider buying the version from the developers so that you can help support them as well. Go Check Them Out for yourself and see if you agree that is the BEST no-brainer purchase for the year! Cheers -
  18. Obviously I would recommend "us" if you're just needing to host a few sites and not needing a 3:am live chat fix for something - otherwise if you need something more robust and 24/7 humans to talk to then there are plenty of more expensive hosting providers out there to choose from. If you are looking for a VPS then you will need to be aware that YOU are still responsible to login to it and then recompile Apache to your desired specs and then also add in your own firewall/settings yourself just like you would on a dedicated server......something most people are not even aware of when they are getting started with a VPS. We currently lease bare metal servers from a couple of the cheapest bare metal providers out there, and since we do all our own IT setups ourselves we are only relying on them for the hardware support and Not any Software/OS support so no-need to have 24/7 support for anything other than confirming power outage issue or some other issue preventing the server from connecting on their end. We also buy Cpanel licenses from a License Vendor and with a Cpanel License you can actually submit "server related software issues" as a Support ticket directly to Cpanel and they will then login to your server to solve that FOR FREE! - So no "managed server fees" required if you can get your own VPS or Dedicated servers configured yourself and running with Cpanel License. If anyone is wanting to go with a VPS and or Dedicated Server then please be aware that you will 99% of the time still need to recompile them to beef them up from their default settings to be able to handle larger RETS data transfers or it will simply time out or run out of available memory. This can sometimes be managed via local php.ini file but not always, and in some cases you will need to open up a specific TCP (port) to be able to connect to the RETS Servers. To be able to Open TCP ports then you will typically need a firewall installed and we use the FREE one called "Configserver". SO - a quick summary on this topic; For all the above reasons we started offering FREE 60-days of hosting on our servers with any purchase so that everyone can get started on their project the same day they make their purchase. Then once we determine what is needed to be able to manage that RETS, we can make recommendations so that you are not over paying for hosting you don't actually need - in fact many customers are running off of shared 10 to 20 dollar a month Godaddy and Bluehost etc. All depends on what you want to do. I typically recommend a cheap dedicated server and cpanel license on a server with at least minimum 4+ gig ram and 140+ gig SSD drive (processor type/speed isn't as important as Memory and SSD don't go with old 5400 or 7200 speed hard drives as they are 100 times slower than SSD). We also can take care of setting up any servers/vps OS to be compiled to handle the largest RETS and install the firewall etc for a flat one-time fee of $100 for those out there that need this done for them - So that's my 2 cents on this - anyone else wants to weigh in on this?
  19. Video

okay.....our plugin doesn't have anything to do with videos and or SEM and video marketing. Personally - videos are #1 fastest way to rank something on page 1 of google - but that's another topic thats pure SEO and not RETS related but I would certainly make full use of blackhat SEO on to any youtube video because there won't be any penalty for doing so and you can even use a couple of sites out there that for about max 15 dollars per video can easily rank it onto page #1 as long as its not extremely competitive - in fact as soon as I get the time I will be making a promotional RETS PRO video and doing that very same tactic as I have done dozens of times over the last 10 years. The difference for me though is that I want something that will be valid and not outdated within the next 12 months because then I'd have to start over with a new video so I have been holding off until everything but the CRM is polished off and then I will be doing all the above using blackhat seo to do it. Cheers -
  20. Questions & Answers

Always better to call or to use skype = RETS PRO
  21. Domain Name

If the phrase can be matched with the domain then always try to go with that first - but at the end of the day its always about SEO efforts that win the day for ranking anything. Cheers -
  22. RETS or Framed IDX

If you were a web developer then you would already know the answer to this is YES - it's as easy as hitting F12 on your keyboard and then ctr-F and inter "iframe" to search the webpage source code for any iframes - but that is as far as that will get you - you would also be able to view source code to see what they are most likely using by looking at the head and footer code to see what and where the scripts and css files are coming from to narrow that part down even further. Cheers -
  23. Google Search Ranking

No idea as to which specific "pre-sales product or service" you are asking about here - NO product or service will be able to legitimately make such a claim as to any "guaranteed" positions on google searches for anything other than your "company name" might be the exception to that. All our plugin is guaranteed to do is provide you with indexable Listings - ."Period" beyond that then the rest is purely up to you for SEO. As to our SEO services then that is something that every SEO service would need to know what the phrase is that you need to rank for and then determine the competition and estimated time and hrs to beat them to get you site to out rank them - so no black and white answer to that without more info provided. cheers -
  24. I’m a drag&drop wysiwyger

hilarious thread topic ;) I would say then that you'd probably want to have us hand off the site already completed, other than your own content and admin panel/UI related stuff. Then your only ongoing responsibilities DIY requirements that fall back onto you. New Content would be added to the site by you and you can use any of the included shortcode templates to do that and or modify them to create new ones. (videos) Anytime the RETS provider sends you an email about changes to old RETS fields or adding new fields or switching to a new/different RETS provider, then you would need to login and tweak as needed yourself via our videos/forums or hire us/someone to tweak as needed. Listing images are the same as the RETS data - they may need to be re-sourced - again with videos/forums etc. Both of the above can sometimes trigger hosting tweaks needed to the php.ini and or my.cnf and or TCP (ports). (most hosting co. accommodate or have how-to's) There are other things that can occur, but for the most part, you can typically go without any tech stuff needed more than once or twice over a 2-3+ year period. I would highly recommend that you run at least 2 sites though (one can be a free.subdomain) so that you can always have a developers version of your live site that you keep in maintenance mode and not allowing it to get crawled/indexed (you don't want duplicate content SEO issues). Then with this second site is where you do all of your trash-testing and learning how to do all the above DIY stuff. When you're ready for more info give us a call or via Skype = RETS PRO Cheers -
  25. Assign Wordpress Categories to listings.

There are (2) things to know regarding your questions - #1 - We do not add listings into wordpress as post - we dynamically add them as pages - meaning there is 1 physical page called yoursitename.com/listing-details(or whatever)/listing-mls# + (and whatever else here for seo). #2 - We can embed any listings you want, based on any filters you want to filter by, anywhere on your website that you want to display them via our short code builder - here is a link https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxGgdDdobwIQPOCYIJshKhakYcP7thwR2 to our Short Code video-play-list.
